Top 10 Apps...

Here are 10 Apps that are making a difference on my iPhone, iPad and in life.

1. Dropbox a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily. Never email yourself a file again!

2. Goodreader is the PDF reader I use on my iPad.  Great for presentations!  Mashable describes it as “a Swiss Army knife   of awesome!” Reviews worldwide hail it as “essential,” “the best,” “magnificent” and “the killer app”.

3. Zite is a personalized magazine for your iPad that automatically learns what you like and gets smarter as you use it. Zite gives you personalized news, articles, blogs, videos and other content from a variety of both mainstream and niche publications and sites.

4. Maxjournal is a simple way to make a daily diary or journal, with extensive photo features. Designed to be easy to use and easy to navigate.

5. Knotwars.  If you like fishing but need some help on knots this is the app for you.  Easy instructions, great video.  Specific recommendations geared to your style of fishing.

6. Hipstamatic.  I am surprised at how often I use this camera app.  It mirrors the feel of an "old school" plastic camera (simple to use)...with creative elements that will leave you amazed.

7. Urbanspoon.  Just choose a city and Urbanspoon will give you everything you need to know about the local restaurant scene.  You get menus, reviews / recommendations and comments from others passionate about the food and restaurant scene.  I just wish they would add a reservation feature (Open Table).

8. Mealboard.  Manages your meal planning, recipes and shopping list.  Great app especially when you're heading home and you get that urge for "The Loon Cafe Chili" but can't remember the recipe.

9. Photosync enables me to share photos between my computer and my iPad, iPhone without a cable or wire.  Easy to use...will also transfer photos to facebook, Dropbox, Picasa...

10. Evernote.  Have you ever had a great idea you couldn't remember?  For me Evernote has been a lifesaver syncing everything from notes, photos or recordings between my computer, phone and tablet

Bonus: Dragon Dictation.  I just speak and dragon dictation converts "the conversation" to text.  You then easily save, text or email your message.

These are 10 Apps that I am working with...so give me one or two that seem to be making a difference in your world...
