PRISM (People Responding In Social Ministry) is a community-funded social service agency that provides families in need with food, financial assistance, transportation and other services in times of financial hardships.
For over 35 years, the volunteers and staff at PRISM have helped families stabilize their immediate crisis and then continued to work with them; counseling, educating and goal-setting to empower them to take an active role in their own solutions.

In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS Shoes, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. One for One.
