At times I am reminded that simple acts of kindness make a huge difference. Check out Josh Ripley a Junior on Andover's Cross Country Team, as he chooses to help an injured competitor...

Weekly Focus
The staff at Cornerstone is doing something new...at least for us. Each Tuesday we are selecting a verse(s)of scripture and a couple of questions to focus on during the upcoming week. Our goal is to come together at our next staff meeting and discuss how that verse(s) is impacting our lives. If you'd like to join us on the journey here are this weeks verse and questions:
Question #2: What cross do you need to take up? How do we do that?
Then Jesus said to the disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” - Matthew 16:24
Question #1: Where is God asking you to deny yourself? Be specific. What does that look like?Question #2: What cross do you need to take up? How do we do that?

Hearing From God...Maybe?
This weekend a couple of you asked, "How
do I know if this 'voice' this push or desire is coming from God?"
Great question. I believe hearing from God get's easier over time
as you grow in your relationship with him. You learn to recognize His
voice - the way he communicates with you. It's kind of like hearing a
strange voice when you answer the phone - you have to ask, "Who is this?"
Compare that to picking up the phone and hearing someone you've known for
10-15 years as they ask, "How's it going?" You don't have to
wonder who - you just know their voice.
